Another approach to Thomas Youngblood

In the beginning, he had a rather one-sided point of view as far as his music career was concerned. I mean, for him it was strictly business, nothing personal. Kamelot had to grow musically and former members Mark and Richard wouldn't be able to support this ideal due to their regular day jobs. This fact and a few others (like who should write the lyrics), led him to search for new members.
So, along with Glen (who has been an integral part of the band since the beginning) they begun their search for a drummer. After seeing Casey play, they directly auditioned him and realized he was what they were looking for. Few weeks later, Thomas heard that Conception split up, and since Khan was one of his favorite vocalists he managed to approach him. I'd say he was really lucky to see Khan with his charismatic voice entering the club.
Since then, Thom and Roy are the vital core of the band. Altough, they live in different continents, they manage to exchange their music ideas making frequent trips to each others homelands. I bet Norway must be their favorite though, judging on how "The Fourth Legacy" turned out (they composed the entire album up there).
Regarding the fans, he hopes Kamelot music has touched them in some special way and that through it all they find a message of hope and peace within.
